Dear Parents and Junior High Student Activities/Athletes:
We would like to cordially invite you to the Little River Junior High 8th Grade Promotion. This will be held Tuesday, May 24th in the Little River Senior/Junior High Auxiliary Gymnasium at 6:00 PM.
During this celebration, we will be honoring those that have participated in extracurricular activities throughout this year. We will also have an academic award presentation for students that went above and beyond in the classroom.
I hope you are all able to attend this end of the year celebration, honoring our students that have put together a fantastic year.

Due to Little River High School Baseball playing in the State Tournament, school will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 26th at Windom Elementary and Little River Jr./Sr. High school. Baseball game will begin at 1:15 p.m. at Great Bend. Lunch will be served. Pre-K's last day will be Wednesday, May 25th. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at 11:30 a.m. Transportation will be provided as needed, but parents are encouraged to pick up students due to shortage of available drivers. Today's Baseball Regional has been moved from James Matson to Dean Evans Stadium. Game time is still at 3PM, with Championship game at approx. 7PM. Dean Evans is right up the street from James Matson. There are NO sunflower seeds or any other shelled nut that can be spit out allowed.

The Little River Jr./Sr. High School Band will be marching in the All Schools Day Parade in McPherson tomorrow, May 13th. The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. Hope to see everyone there!
Today's BSB and SB games at Ell-Saline, have been rescheduled for Monday, May 9th at 3pm.
There will not be an After Practice Bus Route on Friday, May 6, as we are short a bus driver. All athletes that need an After Practice Bus, will need to be picked up by their parents at 5:30 p.m. at Little River. Thank you for your understanding!

8th Grade Promotion
We will be celebrating our 8th grade students as they transition to the High School on May 24th at 6 p.m. in the High School Gym. We invite friends and family to join us in celebrating our talented students.
Due to anticipated weather, tomorrow’s JH Track Meet at Goessel has been moved to Tuesday, May 3rd at 10 a.m.
Reminder: Fine Arts Night is this evening. Will start at 6:30pm and will be in the LRHS gymnasium. Come check out some amazing art and listen to our amazing students perform musically. Roll Tribe!

We are excited to be in our new building. Our students and staff are transitioning to the new classrooms well. As part of our Crisis Plan, we will be conducting an intruder drill today at 11 am.
