Due to Little River hosting the make-up Jr High track meet next Monday, school will be dismissed at 12:30 PM on Monday, April 25th at Windom Elementary and Little River Jr/Sr High school. Track meet will begin at 1 pm at Sterling. Please make arrangements for your child to be picked up at 12:30. Transportation will be provided as needed but parents are encouraged to pick up students due to shortage of available drivers. Thank you for your help and understanding.

Senior Skills class got a bit out of their comfort zone and used our new sewing machines to create their memory pillows.

Finally! We are excited to announce that it is time to move into our new weight room. Due to the time needed to move equipment and get everything set up, the weight room will be closed to patrons beginning Friday, April 1st at 8 am and will remain closed until Monday, April 11th at 5 am. This is in order to allow USD 444 staff time to move, prepare the new area, and get access control cards switched over. More information will be forthcoming to all district patrons that have a card for the weight room. All existing cards will work as they have before beginning on Monday, April 11th at 5 am. Please pay attention to the Monitor-Journal and Facebook for details on hours for the cardio room and weight room. We are very sorry for any inconvenience, but want to get everything set up and ready for your usage on the April 11th.

Rose Memorial Scholarships are now available online at www.usd444.com and Spring Break may be a good time to apply for this scholarship. There will be two $2,000 awards given and one from Peoples Bank and Trust for $1,000 through the Rose application process. Applications must be turned in to Erin Wohletz at the Little River Jr./Sr. High School by May 1st. It would be a good idea to include high school extra-curricular activities on this application even if you are in college! Who doesn't want free money??? Please take the time to apply now!
