USD 444 Calendar Update Wednesday, May 5th, IS a Late Start day with teachers reporting at 7:45 a.m. and students beginning at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, May 12th, will be a regular school day beginning at 8:10 a.m. and releasing at 3:35 p.m. AND is the last day for students.

Friday Fellowship tomorrow morning at 7:30 in the gym. Amy Kay from Elim Lutheran will be sharing devotional. All Little River JH and HS students and staff are invited to attend for great fellowship and great food. Bring a friend & LET'S GO!

Congratulations to Coach Ayers on being named the K.E.M.F.A (Kansas Eight-Man Football Association) - 2020 Coach of the Year!! Coach Ayers, We are so proud of your accomplishments! This award is determined by votes from 8-Man coaches. What an HONOR!! 👏🤩

There will be NO JH Track, HS Track, Softball, or Baseball practice today after school. No after practice busses will be ran. We are looking forward to the HS Athletic Banquet this evening to recognize our outstanding student athletes at 6:30pm.

Fine Arts Night will take place Monday, April 19th in the LRHS gym. Doors will open at 6:00pm for guests to view the HS Art Show and Wood Shop projects. Solo performances will also take place at this time. The concert and student recognition will begin at 6:30pm. This event includes the JH and HS Choir, JH and HS Band, Art, Building Trades, and Forensics students. Students will need to be in concert attire and ready to warm up at 5:30pm. Please join us and support the Arts!

LRHS Sports Banquet When: April 16th Time: 6:30 p.m. Where: Little River Gymnasium All Little River High School athletes and their family are invited and encouraged to attend the banquet where each head coach will present and recognize athletes for their particular sport. All sports: football, volleyball, cross country, cheer, boys' and girls' basketball, baseball, softball, track and trapshooting will be recognized. There will be light refreshments, but all are encouraged to eat supper before attending this event. Each coach's presentation can be viewed live through Facebook Live. Go to the school Facebook page - Facebook Live. It's been a while since we have been able to go to a banquet and recognize our kids. LET'S GO!

At last night's board meeting it was approved to move to Phase 1 of the district's Re-Opening Plan, which recommends the wearing of a mask, but it is no longer required. We will continue to sanitize and adhere to other safety precautions. This is ONLY at USD 444 school and sponsored events. Please adhere to other schools guidelines when attending events.
