Little River Redskin High School Basketball begins this week with the Redskins traveling to Ell-Saline on Friday, Dec. 1st.
The following week our high school basketball team will travel to Goessel for the Bluebird Classic. The schedule for Dec. 4,5,8, and 9th is below.

Junior high boys basketball practice is at 6:15am tomorrow (Monday) at Little River.

There was no practice for junior high girls basketball today. The girls will practice from 7am-9am on Saturday.

It is MacGuyver Day, hosted by HOSA (Future Health Professionals) of Little River High School! Today, students worked in teams relying on their unconventional problem-solving skills to save the day!





No practice for Junior High Boys Basketball today. Practice will be at 7am on Saturday.

Junior high students were challenged to create 3D obstacle courses today. The students worked in teams on this ongoing project. Students will judge the best planned 3D obstacle course which are created by students to fit to scale.





Rice County Special Services hosted Job Olympics today! Area Special Services and students participated in career exploration activities that can benefit students after graduation. Thank you Morgan Konen and Zane Kratzer for assisting with this event. Thank you to all Special Services staff!!!





WAY TO GIVE BACK REDSKINS!! ALL Classes 7-12 met their goal for the FOOD DRIVE!! We will get a total (weight) next week of all of our donations! THANKS for all the donations to help fill the shelves of the Lyons Food Bank for the Holiday Season! #givingback

Christina Jesseph and Lexi Heinly did a great job sharing about our greenhouse tonight at the McPherson County Community Foundation Philanthropist of the Year program. The MCCF awarded Windom School $5000 last year for our greenhouse. Excellent job by these two 5th graders on stage at the Opera House in front of a crowd.



Youth Entrepreneurs and Mrs. Wohletz attended Biz Crawl today in Wichita as students explored careers in Business. ☺️

Azim Bazarov, foreign exchange student hosted by William and Abigail Lehman, senior at LRHS, gives a presentation in Mr. Rains's class. He shared about his home country, Turkmenistan. He is always happy to visit with us about his country, and eager to learn our culture.
Azim is a great addition to our school!! 😎 Thank you, Azim! We are proud of you!!


Junior high basketball travels to Centre today! Students will be dismissed at 1:50 today. C team girls game begins at 4:00pm followed by A & B boys and girls. Goooo Redskins!!!!

Little River FFA represented well today in McPherson for Dairy Cattle judging. Placing 7th as a team overall! Levi Swenson was 9th and Hannah Herzog was 10th in individual overall.
