The Little River High school track team has officially started the 2018 season. After speaking with head coach, Betsy Lafferty, she explains, “practice has been going well and I am confident in the team’s ability to do well this season.” On Thursday, April 5th they had their first track meet, and they did well, with some members of the team placing in their events. Mrs. Lafferty states that, “They will be changing up some things, and will surely work hard to achieve what they want as a team in track.”

HUTCH HOSPITAL ACADEMY
Three LRHS students, Zeke Zeller, Kylie Eller, and Gunner Bower, have recently had the opportunity to apply for the Hutchinson Hospital Academy Internship. This 8 week program will give students the opportunity to study and shadow different professions throughout the hospital. This enriching experience will also allow the kids to decide if the medical profession is something that they might be interested in pursuing as a career. This summer is certainly going to be an exciting one for everyone involved!
